VORSOR Facilities Services evolved from our parent company Acorn, after delivering extensive FS / FM contracts to blue chip clients for over 14 years.

The decision was made in 2019 to develop Acorn's FS division into a separate operating company - enabling us to expand the service further, and allow the team to  provide a fully-tailored, specialist service to our growing number of FS clients.

VORSOR remains a part of the Acorn Group, together with its other subsidiaries Acorn Recruitment, Acorn Rail, Acorn Global and Synaco (Australia), generating a combined turnover of circa £160m.

Acorn is part of the leading international group Synergie - the 5th largest recruitment group in Europe and 15th largest globally, with an annual turnover of €2.6 billion.

With our head office in Newport, South Wales, we are delivering facilities services UK-wide, totalling a combined value of activity in excess of £8m.

VORSOR Facilities Services currently employs a 250-strong workforce, and manages multiple services at locations right throughout the UK.




Director of Operations

With more than two decades under his belt providing managed service contracts, Mark operates nationally within the manufacturing, industrial manufacturing and engineering sector. He joined Acorn in 1999, the UK arm of Europe’s fifth largest recruitment group SYNERGIE, and now delivers facilities services contracts with a combined annual value of circa £8 million.

Mark has been leading TUPE transfers across the Uk for more than a 14 years and has extensive experience of full contract negotiations, from initial bid to complete onboarding and the management of HR related issues.

Mark prides himself on strong health & safety processes, seamless service delivery, continuous improvement and opportunity for employees in the work place.


Facilities Services Director

An experienced contract director in operational and facilities management with a portfolio of high volume industrial manufacturing and public sector clients. An apprentice trained Mechanical Production Engineer by qualification, Justin has a career in manufacturing that spans 25 years and joined Acorn Group in January 2019.  

NEBOSH qualified, Justin believes the safety of employees and members of the public is of the highest priority in any service contract.

Adele Williams

Operations Support Coordinator

Adele has been with the Group since 2010, and transferred to VORSOR early in 2019. Adele has many years' experience managing payroll and back office functions, for hundreds of employees. Prior to joining the Group, Adele worked at a major steel processing plant in Newport where she trained in multiple disciplines across departments, focusing on financial management.

Scott Liddle

Group Commercial Director

Scott is part of the Executive Board at Acorn. An Engineer by trade with diverse experience including iron and steel making, petrochemical works, off-shore installations, marine and port-side mechanical engineering, construction and facilities management. Scott joined Acorn in 2004
